Think & Lose Reviews
Think & Lose is an As Seen On TV product based on the idea that you can eat the foods you love, stop craving all the fatty and sugary foods, and relax a few minutes per day to lose weight and achieve easy and automatic no will power! This being said, it was created by a man known as Don Mannarino, who is basically at this point an inspirational speaker for all intents and purposes.
So what do you get when you order this product? You get a Think & Lose CD, a free lifetime membership to their website, a personal coaching DVD, and a free bonus CD which is apparently a $50 value. And of course, they guarantee that if you don’t see results, you can always get your money back.
So how does it actually work and help you to lose weight? They use hypnosis. People have been selling tapes that tell you to lose weight while you sleep. They’ve used hypnosis in the comfort of a doctor’s office before. There are all sorts of methods of weight loss of course. But they claim that hypnosis has shown greater and more substantial results in psychological studies spanning over the past 50 years o so.
So the question becomes, why has nobody else really discovered this and capitalized on it? I mean what are we all doing going through therapy to work out our issues that may be keeping us fat, when we could just go in for a quick session with a hypnotherapist! Well, we went nosing around, because this is actually the only product of any type that claims to promote weight loss with hypnotherapy, and quite frankly speaking, the reality is that products sell through TV so that they don’t have to provide any concrete evidence or otherwise to sell their product.
The first reference we found was from of course the news channel ABC. We looked into it, and as you generally see when products are featured on “news” channels such as ABC, they didn’t name one study. They talked about one woman who swore up and down that hypnosis had helped her to lose weight. There were no real legitimate studies, no hundreds of cases that proved it must work, nothing like that, just one woman who thought it worked for her.
So then we found another reference. They talked about all the people trying to sell you CDs, DVDs, and otherwise people talking about hypnotherapy that would ultimately help you to lose weight. They were very clear on the old adage of “buyer beware”, because realistically speaking, they ran into the same problem we have. They could not find any clinical studies or otherwise substantiated sources that talked about hypnosis as a real and legitimate way to lose weight.
Essentially speaking, there are no positive studies on hypnosis and weight loss. There is nothing to substantiate their claims. You have a market full of people trying to figure out how to make another quick buck off of you. They tell you something, and ultimately speaking they hope you will take it as the god given truth. Think & Lose is no exception to this. They use one supposed mechanism of action, and there is nothing to back their claims up. So we would definitely recommend taking your money somewhere else.

Dont buy this program. It did not help me at all. I bought the platinum package with mp3 player and when I recieved the shippment the mp3 did not work and wasn’t what I expected so I just wanted money back. Was told a long list of return directions that I followed to the letter. I was told just to return mp3 but that if I liked the cds I could keep them an just be refunded for cost of mp3. I confirmed the date and time they received the return with UPS and then called them to find out why no refund. They then told me that I was sent another one, but I had not received anything. I then asked why because I requested a refund and was then told that the mp3 was a free gift and I could not get a refund because I did not send back the entire package. To top it all off now it was to late because it was past my trial date. WHAT A SCAM!
