Thermonex is a formula created by BSN that states the obvious, they are formulated without ephedra. Even consumers who previously liked the idea don’t really like ephedra products anymore. So they are dropping off the map in droves. However, just because they have bad advertising doesn’t mean they couldn’t produce results. Realistically, BSN is one of the biggest name companies in the industry in general on any market really.

So they claim to burn fat, target the trouble spots around the body, suppress appetite, stimulate a higher metabolism, eliminate excess water weight, and otherwise preserve and enhance lean muscle mass that you would need for real results. They talk about the first scientifically engineered pro thyroid formula.

Of course, we have to caution you, you are likely to see ingredients like kelp and guggulsterones in any formula claiming this, because they are rich in iodine. But while iodine is good for the thyroid, it does not really improve the thyroid to the point of stimulating the metabolism. It regulates a basically healthy thyroid. If a difference that great were possible, you would have a severe medical condition, and you wouldn’t be using natural supplements. Plus, one should note that there are both hyperactive and hypoactive thyroids, meaning it could go either way in terms of actual metabolism.

So what does their formula include? They have a number of caffeine based fat burners like caffeine anhydrous, and they could burn fat, if they used the right amounts. In one case, they use 375mg, just 25mg short of the right amount. However, we suspect that the actual concentration of caffeine in that is likewise too low.

They have other ingredients that are stimulant free fat burners. However, they only use about 40mg of these types of stimulant free fat burners, making it an impossibility for you to actually see fat burning results with them. Their strongest ingredient would actually be the ephedra alternative known as Advantra-Z. However, they use only 20mg of that, which is certainly not enough.

Their other ingredients have no relation to weight loss. They are things like amino acids, and then there’s octopamine, which has been proven to release fat from cells. However, they have found that other cells immediately reabsorb it negating all possible benefits. So obviously speaking, this doesn’t work out in your favor.

We would recommend that you find something else. Thermonex does not actually give you any fat burning or weight loss results, and it will not actually help you to lose weight. Yes, it has a few of the right ingredients. But they are few and far between, and realistically speaking, they don’t even begin to use the right amounts anyway. So we would recommend sticking to something else.
