Slimquick Reviews

Slimquick is a line of products actually targeted at the female dieter. They are known for their stick figure based commercials on TV that talk about the reasons why women have trouble losing weight and compare women to men and even in some cases stick figure dogs. They claim it is even scientifically proven to overcome hormonal barriers that women face in burning fat and losing weight. This review however is meant to cover the original Slimquick formula.
How does it work? The Slimquick formula claims to be backed by 6 exclusive complexes aimed at burning fat and overcoming difficult female hormones. They also provide you with a specific fat burning diet and exercise program. Their complexes are listed as the cyclovite vitamin and mineral formula, the nutratherm thermogenic complex, the estrotrim hormone balance complex, the cortifem stress reducing complex, the aquaplex water removal complex, and the xtend absorption and time released complex.
So what are the ingredients? They have a blend first of all of green tea, cocoa bean, yerba mate, and clary sage. That is their thermogenic blend. Unfortunately, only one of those ingredients is a thermogenic fat burner or weight loss agent in general. Yerba mate is functional in keeping you full for longer when combined with guarana and damiana. But by itself, it does nothing. Green tea is the only fat burner and requires at least 400mg on its own, they have all of these in a 575mg proprietary blend. Cocoa bean likewise is an antioxidant, but it’s in no way related to weight loss.
Likewise, they have a stress reducing complex that includes beta sisosterol, phosphatidylserine, rhodiola rosea, and theanine. Yes, stress can cause some to turn to eating or otherwise sabotage their weight loss efforts. But there is no reason why a diet pill should address this claiming to promote weight loss. Frankly speaking, rhodiola rosea is actually a rumored stimulant if anything, which causes more stress rather than relieving it.
They use a number of diuretics, which is never a good thing. Unless you have certain medical conditions, you should never use diuretics. They not only make it harder to lose weight in the future while allowing you to gain back all the weight lost in a short period of time, they actually cause more serious side effects and problems.
Finally, they have a vitamin complex. Vitamins do not promote weight loss. Yes, you should always have a good multivitamin on hand. But they don’t even give you a complete vitamin based formula. A weight loss supplement should not be using, let alone focusing upon these ingredients.
We would not recommend Slimquick. There is nothing female specific about it, and frankly they use a number of risky or disreputable approaches to say the least. Slimquick is based on a marketing ploy and nothing more. Yes, there are ways to target the female body and promote more weight loss in general. But Slimquick does not provide any of those approaches.

Just yerba mate may aide in weight loss because it is a natural energy booster that can enable exercise.
