Oxycerin Reviews

Oxycerin is one acne serum that works as a standalone treatment. Yes, you should always wash your face on a regular basis, that goes we think without saying. However, when a product works on its own, obviously it should work on its own, because why else are you really buying it?
Anyway, Oxycerin is based on one ingredient. Yes, it has more than one ingredient, because you cannot make a formula with 100% one ingredient. But it is focused on one ingredient known as tea tree oil. In clinical studies, tea tree oil is just as effective as benzoyl peroxide with NO SIDE EFFECTS! That doesn’t make sense. Everybody uses benzoyl peroxide, because it must work and be worth the side effects, right?
Wrong! Tea tree oil has been around for just as long, possibly even longer, since the early 1900’s actually. It has been used in many different ways, and it has been studied time and time again as an antibacterial and antimicrobial. It has been used in the development of effective antibiotics, and it comes from the Melaleuca tree of Australia, which is why companies don’t use it as often. It’s MORE EXPENSIVE. But why when consumers are willing to pay more for something that works?
Basically speaking, tea tree oil is only meant for external use. So if you see it in an internal product stay away. But they have done study after study with no side effects. In a study directly comparing it to benzoyl peroxide, there was one case of an allergic reaction, JUST ONE! And it had nothing to do with chemicals being harmful to the skin or anything like that.
But still, we’ve seen products that used the safe salicylic acid and then used harmful preservatives or other inactive ingredients. So let’s take a look at the so called inactive ingredients in Oxycerin. They include organic aloe vera, white willow bark, licorice root, MSM, and hyaluronic acid. You may not recognize these, because after all, we NEVER see quality ingredients in acne treatments, or at least that’s what it seems like anymore.
Their “inactive” ingredients are basically of a few different types. They are NOT preservatives. They are NOT harmful chemicals. They are NOT ingredients that trap harmful bacteria and oils in the skin. What they are is they are natural moisturizers that soften skin without clogging pores and causing more acne. They ARE anti inflammatories that reduce pain, swelling, redness, and all the other things we so often associate with acne. They ARE repairing agents for the skin. And they ARE completely safe.
So basically speaking, while you may have gotten a bit sick of our are’s and aren’t’s, they make a point. You will not usually see anything like Oxycerin, because Oxycerin is one of a kind in so many ways. Yes, there are other products out there that use tea tree oil or one of their other ingredients. There are products that are otherwise safe. But there is nothing that measures up in every way, at least not on the topical market.
