MaxxTrim Reviews

MaxxTrim apparently has the effect of helping you to burn fat, boost energy, lift metabolism, and it’s guaranteed to produce results. They claim that it’s ”America’s #1 seller” and it’s the most powerful thermogenic agent available without a prescription.

Just to be clear, prescriptions don’t burn fatThere are no prescriptions that claim to burn fat, because burning fat alone cannot actually keep up with excess consumption.  They work as appetite suppressants to reduce excess consumption or they work in some cases as fat blockers as you will find with Xenical.

So while this may attract customers, we wonder how this product actually works and if it has all the right stuff to actually burn fat and ultimately help you to lose weight.  They do in some ways have the right idea.  Yes, they claim to promote fat burning.  But they also claim to suppress appetite, support lean muscle tissue, and otherwise ensure long term benefits. So obviously speaking, they give you various mechanisms of action that work together to promote weight loss, or at least they supposedly do.

So what do they actually use?  They use first of all what’s called bitter orange extract, otherwise known as the component that has an active ingredient named synephrine.  Synephrine, depending on the concentration, actually can be an alternative to ephedra, producing many of the same benefits and results.  However, it requires typically speaking with a high enough concentration about 250mg.  They have a grand total of 40mg.

Then they have ingredients like green tea and caffeine, other popular ingredients.  These ingredients burn fat due to the caffeine content, and each requires at least 400mg, with green tea it must be 50% caffeine or more.  They use about 200mg of caffeine and 50mg of green tea.  So you can see why that would not work.

Then they use a number of ingredients that don’t promote weight loss at all.  For example, ginger calms the stomach, and bladderwrack is rich in iodine, which can be good for the thyroid.  But thyroid improvements do not help with weight loss unless you basically have a disorder that has to be treated through medical means.

From there, they have an ingredient that particularly concerns us called yohimbine.  We hate to see this ingredient, because first of all, it has nothing to do with weight loss.  It is an aphrodisiac. But the big reason why we don’t like it is actually because it causes serious side effects such as heart attacks and liver failure.  So obviously speaking, it’s definitely not worth use, especially when it can cause this with just 10mg.

We would not recommend using MaxxTrim.  Yes, caffeine has side effects.  But those can easily be tempered with results as they are generally not extreme by any means.  On the other hand, yohimbine’s side effects can in no way be tempered, and realistically speaking, they don’t have results to achieve that result anyway.  So we would definitely recommend checking out something else.
