Make healthy food choices for weight loss

There is no food that helps lose weight just by eating it. Foods that aid weight loss are those that your body requires more calories to digest and absorb the nutrients and calories that the calories present in the food itself.   • Whole grains and pulses: whole grains and cereals such as brown rice, lentils, oats, barley, rye and buckwheat are high in fiber content. Pulses such as kidney beans and garden peas are high in fiber and protein.
  • Nuts and seeds such as flax seeds have high levels of mucilaginous fiber which aid bowel function. Seaweeds are a rich source of fiber that helps cleanse the body of toxins. Beans are also an excellent source of protein and fiber.

It is the quality that is important for foods that help lose weight. When the above mentioned foods are combined and included in your daily diet, these foods help lose weight and feel healthy. Try to include as many food items listed above to form a balanced diet and lose weight faster.
