LipoZap Reviews
LipoZap is apparently the ultimate way to zap away those unwanted bulges and fat collections. They claim that LipoZap is a new procedure developed by MedAesthetica Medical Group Inc to reduce fat without any surgery and therefore without any real recovery time. There is no recuperation required, and they have even called things like this “lunchtime lipo.” Actually, this is the official procedure called “lunchtime lipo.”
So what does LipoZap do? They use one ingredient known as phosphatidylcholine. They inject it in high concentrations into whatever areas of fat you want to get rid of, and they claim that it will melt fat and effectively, you will be able to pee it out. In a way, it’s like those hot body wraps that they promote as ultimate weight loss solutions, but those also tighten skin generally speaking.
Does LipoZap work? Well, that’s debatable. Some people have said that because it comes from a medical spa, they have seen results. But most of the reports are nowhere near that positive, and quite frankly, there are some scary things to say the least. Yes, it’s easy, yes you would expect it to be expensive. But the story can be much more complicated than that.
In one case, one woman reported and there was an official case report on this, she went in for lunchtime lipo as scheduled. She was injected in the stomach area, and she left. A while later, she noticed a hard lump sticking out of her abdomen. So she called into the clinic, who told her that was great, because it meant the fat was collecting to pass out of her body. So she took their word for it and went on with her daily life.
The problem was that after that, it didn’t go away, and a few days later, she ended up in the emergency room! Why? Because apparently all that fat had coagulated and collected, and apparently it started collecting all kinds of bacteria and toxins as well in one place, creating quite a serious infection. Needless to say, that particular clinic was rather embarrassed. But it wasn’t an error in the procedure at their clinic. It was an error in the procedure in general, and they were trained to handle it that way!
Frankly speaking, there is nothing that scientifically shows that phosphatidylcholine would have that fat burning or melting effect. There is nothing to show that lunchtime lipo in general is FDA approved, safe, or effective. In fact, we can basically guarantee it’s not safe. So basically speaking, as you can see, we would never recommend that anyone use lunchtime lipo for any weight loss. It may seem safe and appealing. But that is particularly deceiving as we see it.
