liporidex_03liporidex_05Liporidex calls themselves the ultimate formula from Nuretix Research Labs.  They claim that it is a natural and 100% balanced formula that will leave you with results and no jitters, higher metabolism and no caffeine, etc.  They call it the formula that will make you feel like a hummingbird: light, lean, and energetic.  So it is a very unique visualization.

So how does it work?  Well they talk a lot about the benefits of weight loss, in a way to distract you from asking too much about the formula and how they plan to actually promote weight loss.  This being said, its main ingredient is called CLA.  CLA is a good fatty acid that has been proven to increases thermogenic fat burning and lean muscle mass without any stimulants or side effects.  The problem is that it requires about 4500mg, and then it promotes an extra maybe 2 pounds of weight loss PER YEAR! That’s a stark change from what most of us would think of.  But we can guarantee they don’t even use the required amounts either way.

Second, they use mucuna pruriens.  They actually tell you right off the bat that it’s commonly used as an aphrodisiac.  What they leave out is the fact that it has never actually been connected to weight loss.  We’re not even sure why any weight loss supplement would use this.  Maybe they use it because it sounds somewhat exotic to certain individuals.

Third, they use phenylethylamine.  This extract of chocolate has been known to lift the mood.  It’s the “love drug” that makes you feel better when you eat chocolate, especially actual chocolate beans without all the sugar and milk in your common bars.  This being said, it has not actually been shown to promote any fat burning or anything like that.  So what again are you wasting your time on?

Then there’s green tea.  Green tea is literally the most common ingredient in weight loss formulas and the best in studies.  It has hundreds of studies backing it up over and over again, and it has antioxidant health related benefits such as the lowering of cholesterol as a whole.  So it’s not too shabby.  The problem is that it requires 400mg.  They don’t disclose a full ingredients list, let alone do they disclose amounts of ingredients.  So realistically speaking, you would not actually see results.

Now one strong ingredient that they use is known as citrus aurantium.  It is known as the alternative to ephedra, and though to some degree we are skeptical, it could have serious potential.  Now it’s not completely safe, being connected to some caffeine like side effects.  But compared to ephedra, those are of course mild thus far.  This being said, it still does require certain amounts which we can guarantee that Liporidex does not have being that they won’t share any of the essential details.

The list goes on as far as other ingredients, and while they all have their benefits of certain types, they don’t actually have necessarily weight loss benefits, and they don’t have the right amounts.  They do use soy isoflavones, which are thought to mimic the effects of estrogen.  But the problem is that it doesn’t promote weight loss, and well it would certainly make it inappropriate for men.  In short, without realistically speaking any of the right stuff, we would not recommend this product.
