Lipo 6 Reviews
Lipo 6 claims to be the one and only supplement you will need for all day bodybuilding. They claim that Lipo 6 will finally help you to burn away fat, and it’s the “award winning fat loss product of the year 4 years in a row!” This being said, they talk about a very basic formula that has transformed bodies to give people the results they want, and accordingly they sell through various third party retailers including bodybuilding.com which is apparently where the awards came from. This product is produced by Nutrex.
So how does it work? Well, Lipo 6 starts out with an ingredient called synephrine in 20mg. Synephrine has been introduced as the alternative to ephedrine. They claim that as a cousin of ephedrine, it can produce the same benefits, but this time without the side effects. The problem is that synephrine requires the same high amounts that ephedrine did. They legally limited companies to using 25mg of ephedrine, in part because they knew that amount would not actually promote weight loss, and therefore it would hopefully not attract buyers in the future. As such, this is not enough synephrine to help you to lose weight.
Second, they use synthetic guggulsterones. Guggulsterones can be effective muscle builders. The biggest problem is that there are two types of guggulsterones, and only the darker variety actually works. The other variety has no positive effect on that part of the human body at all. They don’t specify which type they use, and the lighter variety is cheaper. They also don’t use a substantial amount, meaning that even with the right amount, they wouldn’t show substantial or any results at all.
Then they use what’s called yohimbine in 3mg. First of all, yohimbine is not a weight loss supplement. Yes, some men’s supplements have used it claiming that it would increase testosterone production and therefore increase muscle mass. But it has not been shown to have this affect at all. This being said, it has been shown to cause various side effects such as heart attack, stroke, renal failure, and serious kidney damage.
Finally, they have the most common ingredient on the fat burning market: caffeine. Caffeine in amounts of 400mg or more has been shown to actually promote a thermogenic fat burning effect within the body. It causes side effects, sure. But it’s cheap, and it works. And for asthmatics, should you take it one hour prior to exercise, studies suggest it could prevent some asthma attacks during exercise. However, they only use 200mg, half the required amount.
The biggest problem with Lipo 6 is of course the fact that it could not possibly produce weight loss or fat burning results. But there are also various side effects. Frankly speaking, both synephrine and caffeine have been shown to produce many of the same side effects including anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, depression, aggravated PMS, upset stomach, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, heart attack, stroke, renal failure, kidney damage, and jitters among other things.
The fact is that Lipo 6 isn’t really the highest quality product out there. Yes, it comes from a huge company known as Nutrex, and many of us like the idea of the security that should come with such a big company. The problem is that this sense of security is misleading. Lipo 6 still comes with plenty of risks and dangers, and yet it does not come with the results you might expect or hope for. We would highly recommend finding something else.
