While they claim that their products are stimulant free, it should be noted that many of the drinks, shakes and foods in the programs contain ingredients that are caffeinated- such as green tea leaves. Their cleanse plan is not a pure fast. There are “cleanse” days, which are days that you consume very few calories, and there are normal days- which still have low calorie requirements.

First and foremost, Isagenix promotes its product as a nutritional cleanse. Weight loss as a result of the cleanse is a secondary, added benefit. Other benefits of the cleanse include: increased energy, reduced cravings, improved muscle tone and better digestion. They do carry some products that are labeled as fat burners. These products are highly promoted by the company to those who are seeking more weight loss than natural cleanse.

Isagenix products are not made with organic ingredients. The Food and Drug Administration does not monitor their product creation process or the claims that are made by the company. Most of the products for the cleanses are acceptable for lacto- vegetarians or lacto- ovo vegetarians. There are no published clinical studies to support any of the claims made by Isagenix.

Starting a diet is a challenging proposition, and one that involves fasting and cleansing is even more difficult. But it can be be undertaken successfully. It’s a good idea to talk over your plans with your primary care physician before you begin the diet, your individual health history should be taken into consideration as well as any specific nutritional needs you may have.     The Isagenix Nutritional Cleanse system is one of the most comprehensive systems I’ve seen. It not only cleans out the toxins in your body, but puts quality nutrition back in. That’s what I like the most about it. I’d rather spend my money on quality than buy a few cheaper products that do not give me the full benefits of a cleanse AND proper nutrition. After a cleanse program like this you feel so good you are more inclined to continue eating healthy.
