Hydroxycut Hardcore X Reviews

Hydroxycut-HardCore-X_03Hydroxycut-HardCore-X_05

The new formula by MuscleTech meant to replace the old Hydroxycut Hardcore after the recall and ban in January of 2009, Hydroxycut Hardcore X claims to be bigger, better, increase thermogenic fat burning, and accelerate your metabolism for “America’s #1 selling hardcore thermogenic brand.”  Frankly speaking, they need to do some recovering before they can make anything near that claim.  But they claim to increase norepinephrine, improve metabolism and thermogenesis, and increase energy.

They further claim that “team MuscleTech researchers are committed to developing advanced supplements formulated with key ingredients backed by third party studies, and Hydroxycut Hardcore X is their latest innovation.”  It’s possible that the company has changed.  We certainly hope they learned more from this than they obviously did from the whole ephedra fiasco.

So how does this new Hydroxycut Hardcore X formula work?  It starts out with one big proprietary blend.  No more breaking it down into smaller blends and giving you a small idea of how much they might use of individual ingredients. This still means that they use fillers.  This time, it just ensures you that you will get even smaller amounts of the individual ingredients as they only use 1134mg total.

However, within that one big proprietary blend, they do break down some of the ingredients.  They start out with what they call “adenoclene” which includes caffeine anhydrous, aminoacetic acid, l-methionen, and choline bitartrate.  Aminoacetic acid is actually another word for glycine.  It is used in cosmetics to buffer other ingredients.  Caffeine likewise is the most common ingredient in any diet pill, its results are modest, and it alone requires at least 400mg.  Likewise, the other ingredients really have nothing to do with weight loss.  They say that choline may be an appetite suppressant, but there’s nothing to substantiate that.

The second blend is called norepidrene and it includes Medium chain triglycerides, oleic acid, l-proline, and betaine.  We hope that we don’t have to tell you that none of these ingredients are related to weight loss.  Yes, oleic acid is omega 9, a good fatty acid.  But the only good fat that has been connected to weight loss is CLA, and that requires at least 4500mg to promote 2 extra pounds weight loss per year.  Omega 9 doesn’t even have that.

Third, they have lipidrol, a blend of l-tyrosine, l-leucine, trans-ferulic acid, l-carnosine, l-arginine, and myristic acid.  Yes, amino acids may initially look impressive to some.  But realistically speaking, they don’t promote weight loss.  They are essential to the muscles, they are the building blocks of the muscles.  But they don’t automatically produce lean muscle mass, nor do they promote fat loss, fat burning, etc.

Finally, they have one that they call capsicore which is made up of one ingredient, cayenne fruit.  Cayenne fruit could potentially help you to burn more fat without stimulants.  But to be honest, the results are extremely small, and you can be sure they don’t use the right amounts even for that.

We would not recommend using Hydroxycut Hardcore X.  It’s not an improvement.  In fact, at face value, the old formula would have actually been more capable of producing weight loss results.  This being said, this formula is completely incapable.  You would be far better off using something else that doesn’t come under the tainted Hydroxycut name.
