Hydroxycut Hardcore Reviews
Hydroxycut Hardcore claimed to be the most powerful fat burner ever created. They included 120 capsules, and they claimed that it came from “America’s #1 weight loss supplement” and a trusted grouping to say the least. This being said, they claimed to spare no expense, to give you the best results ever possible, and otherwise to be completely safe surprisingly enough, attacking fat at the core.
All in all, they claim to take 5 basic steps. They claim to increase norepinephrine, strengthen the fat loss signals, let the fat loss signal do its work, keep the fat loss hormones at maximum levels, and maximize thermogenesis. All of this will evidently help you to burn away the fat and pounds for a more beautiful and ideal body in general.
So how did Hydroxycut Hardcore work? Before it was discontinued and recalled in January 2009 due to 23 separate reports of severe renal failure including one 18 year old boy who actually died from it, Hydroxycut Hardcore was one of their most popular products. Obviously, they did not disclose all of the ingredients. But those that they did disclose were all fat burners. Some were potentially more powerful than some, etc.
They had a proprietary blend of fat burners such as green tea and caffeine anhydrous, producing a thermogenic effect within the body. These are blended with white willow to reduce inflammation and pain in general, which is a common tactic used in combination with considerable amounts of caffeine. However, this blend is only 742mg when green tea and caffeine alone would require at least 400mg each. Proprietary blends are often used to cover quite a few fillers as well. However, these caffeine based ingredients will still cause various side effects.
This being said, their second blend uses deanol acetamidobenzoate hydrogen tartrate, xanthinol nicotinate, evodiamines, inula racemosa extract, and codonopsis pilosula extract. Some of these ingredients could potentially help you to lose more weight. However, not all of them are actually related, and they certainly require more than 171mg for each individual ingredient. But the entire proprietary blend has only 177mg.
Finally, they use a blend of troxerutin, inositol, cnidium monnieri extract, and black pepper extract in a 55mg proprietary blend. The fact is that black pepper enhances nutrient absorption. So it’s not a direct weight loss supplement, and moreover, it only requires 10mg. So why would you need to hide the amount used, unless of course they for whatever reason can’t even bother to use that amount? The other ingredients follow suit.
Finally, they include an ingredient called yohimbine. Yes, there have been rumors about yohimbine increasing testosterone, making it a male specific supplement, and therefore building muscle. But frankly, in terms of traditional use, it has only been used as a male sexual stimulant. It has never actually been used or tested in the pursuit of weight loss. Moreover, it has been connected to severe side effects such as severe renal failure, kidney damage and failure, heart attack, and stroke. So in some ways, one could speculate that they did provide all the ingredients and fair warning in some ways if you know what to look for.
With all of this in mind, it’s no wonder that Hydroxycut Hardcore was one of the products recalled when the FDA issued a warning due to the 23 cases of severe renal failure among other various side effects. Hydroxycut Hardcore was obviously a risky supplement, though with all the proprietary blends and small amounts, it wouldn’t necessarily be an effective supplement at all. The good thing is that it is no longer available for sale and has been discontinued.
