It is now being marketed for its weight loss benefits.
Since green tea has been found to boost metabolism, it is reasonable to say that it can assist in weight loss efforts. Green tea can be purchased in two different forms. It can be purchases as a tea form which can be steeped and drank. There are also many companies who have marketed green tea extract in pill or capsule form for our convenience.

Green tea can help to boost your metabolism and help you to lose weight quicker. However, using the tea alone will not get the results that most people seek. This needs to be combined with a healthy low calorie, low fat diet and regular exercise to get the maximum benefit from this.
