First of all, we may as well go into a little history concerning CortiStress.  Combined with several other companies making claims about cortisol and belly fat, CortiStress was sued by the FTC in October of 2004 for unsubstantiated claims.  Basically speaking, cortisol buildup is a serious and rare medical condition.  It affects less than 1% of the population reportedly.  Second, there’s the fact that if it does happen to you, it does require medical intervention.  Sleep aids and otherwise like they used would not promote weight loss, short and simple.

They continued to make claims about stress, even mentioning cortisol in some of their ads interestingly enough.  So all in all, this will not actually give you results.  That being said, they ran out of sales, especially after the FTC lawsuit and the fact that people realized in general that the product wasn’t actually going to work.  So this product has for all intensive purposes been discontinued, and we would definitely suggest staying away from products like it in the future.
