Colon Hydrotherapy Reviews

Colon Hydrotherapy is a process that should never be left out of any group of colon cleansing reviews.  It should always be included for several reasons.  The first reason is that it’s the best known form of colon cleansing and the most popular in some ways.  People can actually see the black tar like substances coming out of their bodies, and while sickening, well it appeals to us to see those immediate results, even as embarrassing as it may well be.

Second, it’s conducted only by professionals.  By professionals, we don’t mean doctors.  We mean generally speaking a little bit off the beaten track chiropractors and natural health clinics as well as day spas and so on and so forth.  They tend to work in certain settings, as it can be very germy in a way.  By this, we mean that infections could easily happen, and it’s best not to really do it in the comfort of your own home for the risk of certain side effects and problems.

So how does it actually work?  Well, in layman’s terms, they stick a tube up your butt.  But in more technical terms, they stick a tube up the rectum, reaching its way up to the colon.  Once it is there, they proceed to spraying water into the colon while letting the water drain back out with toxic buildup mixed with it into a bucket they have set up.  It comes out black for all those reasons, and over time, they find that it has its benefits.

They actually do several treatments for each individual.  Frankly speaking, we have actually had the experience of seeing someone undergo the treatment.  We have never done it for the simple reason that we have done extensive research on the whole process, and the simple fact is that even with the precautions they take to help you to feel “comfortable”, there is really no way to feel comfortable in that setting.

But one must ask, why wouldn’t at least one member of our team do it for experimentation purposes.  After all, we have seen some benefits, right?  And we’ve seen the black waste, right?  Yes, we have seen the black waste.  But frankly speaking, the results aren’t anywhere near that of the results we have seen with colon cleansing pills, powders, etc of the right kind. Moreover, there are certain risks.

There are some medical professionals who actually say that it weakens the walls of your colon causing quite permanent and lasting damage.  With one treatment, it’s not that bad, your colon can recover.  But with the intensive push of the water in the colon, over multiple treatments, it causes more problems in general.  Also, even though only professionals actually perform it, they do not throw the tubes away after each process, and frankly infections are quite common as is dehydration.

So all in all, this is not something we would recommend.  Colon hydrotherapy is not ideal at all, and it’s not just because of the embarrassment factor.  It can actually be damaging to the body, and there are so many other better options out there.
