Celebrity diet secrets
We are all dying to have a diet for body like the celebrities or movie stars in the glossy magazines. Just how do they manage to keep a figure like that? Well, for most of the superstars and celebrities, they do have an advantage over the rest of the population, since we are not all as lucky as to have our own personal trainer and dietician at hand to guide us in the right direction. But there probably is a few pieces of advice we can learn from celebrities in leading a healthier lifestyle that could lead to a perfect bikini body. Here are just a few of the celebrities secrets that we could maybe take heed from:
Angelina Jolie: When preparing for her role in the Tomb Raider movies, Angelia Jolie ditched her diet vices of coffee and cigarettes, and instead followed a strict diet of steamed meat, vegetables and soya milk. Eating steamed beef steak or steamed sea bass was good for shaping her body and maintaining those world famous curves.
Paris Hilton: Paris doesn’t believe in any form of diet drinks. She believes that these are one of the worst things to do when trying to lose weight, and actually, she may be right. New studies that have been carried out have found that the artificial sweeteners that are in the diet or ‘lite’ variety of sodas may actually cause you to be more hungry, by stimulating your appetite.
Jessica Simpson: Jessica tried the Atkin’s diet, but found that denying herself completely of carbohydrates was not right for her, and just made her binge eat on them. Her favourite foods are bread and pastas, and cookie dough ice cream. She found that she had much more success with a healthy balanced diet, incorporating her favourite things, but just eating them in moderation.
Madonna: In true Madonna style, her diet is a little bit strange and little bit hippy-ish. Alongside ritualistic yoga, Madge follows a strict macrobiotic diet. This diet is all about “listening to your inner compass”. The diet is heavily made up of whole grains, vegetables, natural sweeteners, and a select amount of meat and fish.
Avril Lavigne: Punk pop singer Avril believes that it is important to eat healthily, but also to let yourself live a little some times! She claims to be a vegan “90 per cent of the time”, but allows herself to eat the occasional fast food meal just to treat herself and curve those cravings.
Carmen Electra: Carmen believes that women can be too hard on themselves if they break their diet resolutions. She thinks that the best way to approach a diet is to take it easy and slowly, giving yourself time to get into the pace of it, and adjusting your body to your new diet.
