CalmSlim Reviews
Claiming to be developed using ancient Chinese medicine to be the advanced formula that will finally give you the fat burning results you are looking for, CalmSlim is apparently especially and specifically meant for women alone. They call it a “lab tested all natural weight loss product created for women to effectively and safely reduce fat absorption, suppress appetite and boost metabolism while fortifying the digestive system and improving inner health.”
So do they use Chinese herbs? Do they actually promote real and lasting weight loss with the “secrets” of Chinese medicine? Well first of all, let’s get at least one misconception out of the way. There is no magical secret to Chinese medicine. It is traditional medicine just like any other country’s traditional medicine. Sometimes they get it right and as it turns out, their ingredients actually do provide certain results, and other times, they don’t do anything at all. So basically speaking, relying on the idea that it magically makes it great would be a mistake.
But that being said, you can look into the actual ingredients in this particular product. To be honest, they have green tea, which was expected. Green tea is the best known Chinese herb or whatnot, and frankly speaking, it has been through hundreds of different studies showing that it could potentially promote greater weight loss results. But the problem would lie in the fact that they don’t actually have the right amounts, meaning that basically this product cannot produce results with green tea.
From there, they use gymnema sylvestre, which has been known to control blood sugar levels promoting small weight loss results if you use large amounts that they don’t have. Realistically speaking, they claim that it suppresses appetite. It’s nice to know that they know what their own ingredients actually do.
Then they use white kidney bean. This particular ingredient has not actually been proven in studies. But we give it a break because they haven’t really tried, and frankly speaking the customer reviews when products use around 1000mg are outstanding. But of course, CalmSlim does not actually use that amount. If they did, it could ideally speaking work as a carb blocker. Likewise, cassia nomame actually blocks fat or inhibits their absorption. Both of these mechanisms are thought to help you to “cheat.” But really, if you do that, there will be no real related weight loss.
They also use chromium, which is common. But only one study conducted on athletes showed weight loss results. All other studies showed that it did not actually promote any greater benefits in general. Likewise, rubus fruit and brindle berry did not actually promote any weight loss results in general. So all in all, most of their ingredients do not actually promote weight loss.
We would definitely recommend finding something else. There is nothing female specific about this formula, and frankly, there are no proven weight loss benefits in general. So all in all, you would not benefit from this, and there are plenty of better products out there waiting for you.
