Alvidar Reviews
Alvidar is supposed to be the natural thyroid treatment. By this, they mean that you will finally be able to eliminate your thyroid problems, speed up your metabolism, and otherwise get the results you are looking for. They claim that if you feel tried, weak, have decreased interest in sex, and otherwise, you may have a thyroid disorder and they can cure that! This is blasphemous at best and frankly the FTC should sue them. Let’s be completely honest here, that’s the simple fact of the matter.
What is a thyroid disorder?
A thyroid disorder first and foremost is a medical condition. It means that a tiny butterfly shaped hormone in your neck has stopped working. It may be overactive, which means that you will burn more calories than normal, feel overhyped and yet exhausted all the time, be hotter than normal, etc. And then there’s the underactive thyroid that they are referring to, which means you have a slower metabolism, gain weight, feel cold, feel tired, etc. Frankly speaking, it is an extremely serious problem, and it’s also relatively rare. It is rare for a person in general to have a thyroid disorder and even more rare for one to have an underactive thyroid as you can imagine. So obviously, this isn’t going to be so common.
But that aside, those with overactive thyroids have complained of racing heartbeats, and those with underactive or sluggish thyroids have had other symptoms as well. Yes, iodine is good for the thyroid, it can optimize a basically healthy thyroid with no major issues. But when you try to treat a thyroid problem with iodine, you are running up the wrong tree. In fact, you may even be putting yourself at greater risk as it could very easily get substantially worse without proper treatment.
The only way to really know whether you have a thyroid disorder is having a blood test. If you have an overactive thyroid, chances are you aren’t looking at diet pills. If you have an underactive thyroid, chances are it may have gotten far past the point where your biggest worry is a few extra pounds.
So what does Alvidar even use?
Alvidar uses a few different ingredients including kelp and fucus. These are two major sources of iodine. But realistically speaking, optimizing a basically healthy thyroid isn’t going to suddenly help you to shed away the pounds or even lose a few pounds. It isn’t going to help you to burn fat, increase metabolism, suppress appetite, or anything else realistically speaking.
We would not recommend using Alvidar. It’s a scam and a dangerous one at that. They want everybody to think that they have a thyroid disdorder. It’s like telling everybody they have a cortisol disorder. But of course, cortisol disorders are far more rare and some would say more serious. Either way, they are targeting a serious and rare medical condition. And either way, it would be a mistake to take them at all seriously or bother with their product.
