Acai Berry Detox talks about giving you the #1 superfood, the #1 detoxifying formula, and even a “free trial offer” to get you started.  They claim that you can flush away 25 pounds almost instantly and feel and look great while improving digestive systems, increasing mental focus, lowering cholesterol levels, and losing weight with more energy among other things.  They even claim that some testers lost up to 30 pounds in 4 weeks/28 days of testing.  So isn’t this product amazing?!?!?!

NO!!!  And below we will detail the reasons why.

1. The Free trial offer scam

This is the first thing that should always be noted whenever you see a “free trial offer.” It always means that they are going to sign you up for an expensive auto ship order.  I’m sure you’re sitting there thinking, well that won’t be me, because I’ll cancel, right?  Wrong!  There have been multiple complaints about companies like this, because you call in and they DON’T CANCEL YOUR AUTO SHIP!  Surprised?  Don’t be.  Anyway, the simple fact is that if you don’t call in before generally about the 14 day mark from time of order, they will start shipping you expensive auto ship orders generally ranging from about $40-$100 depending on the company.  This particular company charges $79.62 plus shipping and handling.

2.       The Acai Berry Scam

Yes, this gets a section all of its own.  The acai berry is a berry that you find only in the rainforests of Brazil, making it ultimately speaking unattainable.  So we love it. The problem is that much more ordinary and attainable fruits like blueberries actually have a higher ORAC value(antioxidant level)and higher levels of certain essential vitamins and other nutrients as well.  So realistically speaking, the acai berry is not that special.  What’s more is the fact that in all reality, the acai berry cannot on its own accord promote weight loss, colon cleansing, or anything else of that nature.  And yet those are the claims of every diet pill trying to promote itself as an acai berry product.

From there, of course it goes back into the individualized review.  Those two factors apply to every single acai berry product without exception.  But with this particular product, they don’t bother listing a full ingredients list.  They are counting on the idea of you getting caught up in the hype surrounding the acai berry.  But by not including a full ingredients list, they are telling you that they don’t have any valid weight loss ingredients.  It’s not one bit surprising unfortunately.  In fact, it’s something you can expect to see every single time
The reason why we even ask about the rest of the ingredients is because 1, acai is not the only ingredient in Acai Berry Detox, and 2, if they had real weight loss or detoxifying ingredients, they would list them.  They hide them, because they know that even someone who knows absolutely nothing about colon cleansing would know that their formula is not meant to cleanse the body or produce results.  And even if you didn’t see that, you would know that it wasn’t worth paying just about $80 for every month!  So do yourself a favor and find something else.
